Eddie Huang pounced like a meth-tweaked panther at the possibilities of social media and, because he's funny as hell and smart and a food-kook/blogger, he's somehow ended up with his own show. What he does is, he tours around, just like one of those Anthony Bourdain or Guy Fieri people and, in this case, finds ludicrously cheap but intriguing food items and situations. Huang is brazen but genuinely witty and comes up with interesting ways - a blind date, for example - to explore the whole context of cheap food. My fervent wish for a future episode: Huang finds a way to bake Paula Deen's sons, Jamie and Bobby, into a huge pie and throw the whole thing into the East River.
